About Me
While I currently reside in Omaha, NE I'm originally from a small town in Northeast Nebraska called Winside. I grew up on a farm where I learned the value of hard work. From there I left to put myself through college at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and then transferred to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. At MCAD I learned a lot about fine art, design and the fundamentals to creating art that both express myself and convey ideas.
In May of 2002 I received my BFA in Illustration from MCAD. I started work immediately after for a fast growing marketing company called Gruen Marketing services where I headed all of th graphics needs of the company. There I expanded my skills to include ad design, pre-press and corporate identity.
In the past couple years I have been doing freelance work that includes outdoor business signage, product design, web design and graphical interfaces for online games. I've worked as Art Director for a marketing company in Minnesota from 2002 to 2008 and I currently am a Graphic Designer for Speedway Motors, Inc. in Lincoln NE.
